Business Data Model Workstream Lead – Data Architect
Our client is looking for a Business Data Model Workstream Lead (Data Architect), to have full data ownership and act as the point of contact for escalations and Data Elements. The remit of the regulation effects everything from Loans & Credit Cards, all the way to liquidity risk.
Involves Data Mapping, Data modelling, Data Governance and Reference Data. There will also be times where the lead will need to write full technical specifications from business requirements. This role leads the development and maintenance of a group-wide business data model. This individual will work closely with data practitioners across different levels of a large UK bank, helping to define the meaning and ontology of data.
Ideally, this individual should have a level of understanding of typical data domains within a bank. The role will drive discussions on how the business data model & its development approach should be enhanced, negotiate up to director level stakeholders on data ownership and support embedding of good data practices across the Group.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Business data modelling (not specific to a technology)
- Collibra experience would be highly advantageous
- Knowledge of banking procedures.
- Business data definition

- Support training initiatives
