Three divisions,
two industries…

one team!

Our story began within the UK’s Financial Institutions. We later diversified into the Broadcast industry - offering an agile business model that would enable us to adapt to changing market conditions, technologies and client demands with ease.

In 2010 we expanded our reach into North America, establishing Caspian One in Toronto and Montreal. Today, we’re working with hundreds of international clients, providing a consultative approach to permanent, contract and project-led capability resourcing; guided by analytical insights, industry intel and earned partnerships.

Team:
FinTech UK

Headed by Director Adam Vipond and managed by Co-Heads, Ben Rutter and Phil Staples the UK FinTech division support 60+ clients, spanning the traditional Capital Markets, Financial Institutions and Investment Banks, Information Providers, Hedge/Prop Funds, Retail Banks and frontier tech start-ups.

This division seeks people with a passion for career ownership. Dedicated, well presented, confident, and articulate professionals that are ambitious - without being arrogant. People that are motivated by high-value goals like homeownership, that can demonstrate common sense with the abilities to qualify and comprehend complex technical subjects - and an accountable, problem-solving mindset.

Team:
Broadcast Media

Director Lee Barnett is responsible for Caspian One’s Broadcast Media and Entertainment Technology division. To date, the team have placed over 1,000 broadcast technology professionals in mid to senior-level positions at Broadcasters, Content Owners, Telcos, Equipment Manufacturers, Service Providers, System Integrators and Resellers; meeting clients permanent, short-term and complex hiring requirements.

This division looks for people that take responsibility for their careers; socially confident, self-motivated and quick to adapt. People who can confidently communicate with anyone from any walk-of-life, while demonstrating a genuine interest in the lives of people they support. We look for accountability, ambition, the intelligence to comprehend technical subjects and the ability to intuitively ask the ‘right’ questions.

Team:
North America

Led by Manager Danielle Gray and overseen by Founder, Marcus Graziano the North American division is deeply rooted within the unique tech communities found throughout Toronto and Montreal.

Being the financial hub of Canada, Toronto offers an abundance of talent. In comparison, Montreals’ more startup focused community is at the forefront of the latest and most exciting technological innovations.

This division looks for people that show passion for their careers. Professionals who are committed, confident and articulate - with common sense and the ability to qualify requirements, whilst comprehending complicated technical subjects. The team covets problem solvers and those who are motivated with a willingness to learn.

The Silicon

Our headquarters are in the seaside town of Bournemouth, on the UK’s south coast. From our offices, we are able to reach London in under 2 hours, with the train station just 10 minutes walk away. At the same time, a brief walk in the other direction takes you to the 5th best beach in Europe!

That’s not to say we’re all beach-bums; there is much more to our town than just sand and sea. Bournemouth is a vibrant tech hub with a fast-growing digital economy that’s attracting significant investment.

“In my opinion, our team is the strongest it’s ever been today. We’re way more collaborative and everything in the division is an open book; we know how everyone's doing and can hold each other accountable. It’s very much a case of working as a team rather than as individuals…”

Started in January 2021 | Consultant - FinTech | Read interview >

“I’d got myself built up and ready to go into the office the next day, only to get a message from Pete saying “word of warning, keep an eye on the news and see what the situation is”. Next thing I know we find out we’re going into another lockdown…”

Started in March 2019 | Senior Consultant - North America | Read interview >

Started in January 2013 | Co-Head FinTech | Read interview >

“Prior to Caspian One, I was working as a new business manager for a small boutique insurance firm that dealt with event insurance. The job was - okay. I just... I wanted more. I got to a point at that company where I just thought “what's next?” - but couldn't see a future within that job. ”

Started in July 2011 | Senior Business Manager - North America | Read interview >

“There were times in the first 9 months I questioned whether actually, this is right for me. But getting out of bed, going into the office the following morning, picking up the phone… that built my resilience and taught me to change tact or do something differently.”
